Hair extensions: before and after

Hair extensions: before and after

I started thinking about hair extensions more than two years ago. I had suspicions that such a procedure would ruin my own hair, but I thought that it couldn’t get any worse.

Any masks did not really help me, in fact, that’s why even then the idea came to my head to extend my hair.

Even in spite of the many negative reviews and dissuasions of my mother from this, I began to investigate which build-up is better and where to do it in my city. I reviewed a lot of videos, information and sites where they showed the successful and unsuccessful sides of hair extension. And then I realized that the main thing in this business is to find an excellent master who has a lot of experience in this area.

As a result, I have beautiful, even long hair and a bunch of rules on how to care for it. The requirements are not great, you just get used to them over time. But after a month, I remembered my phrase that the main thing is to find a good master. I was out of luck with the master. For dark hair, she made me white capsules and only 100 strands. The capsules were large and this made the weight heavier on my hair.

Further, I just turned to another master, because I did not want to remove my hair: I liked the effect and felt sorry for the money. From the second master, I already understood all the charms of hair extension. It looked much better than the first time, and the capsules were already black and smaller in size – The master correctly distributed everything over my head to give even more naturalness to my hair.

Now I admire my hair and notice the same look from passers-by, because everyone who was surprised at my long hair did not even suspect that it was not my hair.

The only negative I can name is the inconvenience for dyed hair. Correction should be every 4-5 months, and it would be desirable to dye your hair every month, because the roots do not sleep in this regard.

There are many more advantages here than it might seem at first glance. It is not only beautiful, but also comfortable for your hair.

Remy vs non-remy

In low quality extensions, hair from different donors can be confused because non-remy hair is often harvested from barbershop floors and comes from low quality suppliers.

Often non-remy hair does not go through the procedure correctly: the ends or cuticles are cut off. If left untreated, the strand of hair will have split ends or be thin at the ends. To reduce tangles and make the material shiny, manufacturers can use silicone. But once such hair is properly washed, the silicone comes off and the hair turns into a mess.

If you are unsure of buying Slavic Russian hair extensions for the first time, then non-Remy hair is an alternative to just trying hair extensions. The main advantage of this material is the lower cost due to the large supply. But be prepared to only wear these strands for a few weeks – they are unlikely to last longer than a couple of months.
